Bengaluru, India, June 2026 – ScaleX has announced the appointment of Akshay Sharma as Head of HR & People Operations.
In his new role, Sharma will lead the company’s people strategy, HR operations, and organizational development initiatives, supporting ScaleX’s continued growth as a performance marketing partner for coaches, consultants, educators, and ed-tech brands.
According to Sharma, his responsibilities will include driving employee engagement and retention initiatives, strengthening company culture, developing performance management frameworks, supporting workforce planning and organizational design, enhancing employee experience, and building scalable HR processes that enable sustainable business growth.
Prior to joining ScaleX, Sharma served at Brelex Media, where he held dual leadership responsibilities as Head of Operations and Chief Human Resources Officer.
During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing business operations while simultaneously leading the organization’s human resources function, contributing to people strategy, talent management, operational effectiveness, and organizational development initiatives.
Before Brelex Media, Sharma worked as a Recruitment Specialist with My Virtual Mate, supporting recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives across Australia. In this role, he gained significant experience in sourcing, candidate management, recruitment operations, and talent identification.
Earlier, he spent over a year with VICNA in Australia, progressing from Human Resources Officer to Assistant Human Resources Manager. During this period, he contributed to HR operations, employee relations, coaching, workforce support, and human resource process management.
Sharma began his professional HR career with Saviance Technologies as a Recruitment Executive, where he developed foundational expertise in talent acquisition, candidate engagement, recruitment lifecycle management, and workforce planning.
Across his career, Sharma has built experience spanning human resources management, talent acquisition, people operations, employee engagement, organizational development, recruitment strategy, workforce planning, performance management, and HR process improvement.
