Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, February 2026 — Cate Hathaway has started a new position as Head of People & Culture at Kasada, where she will lead the organization’s people and culture agenda, supporting workforce capability and organizational growth in a fast-scaling cybersecurity environment.
Before joining Kasada, Cate Hathaway worked as an Interim Executive and Consultant, advising organizations on executive and people strategy. Prior to that, she spent nearly six years at GrainCorp, most recently as Chief People and Transformation Officer, where she led HR, IT, Safety, Health and Environment, and the Transformation Office. During her tenure, she supported major portfolio changes including a business demerger and divestment, chaired the Cyber Security Committee, and sponsored an enterprise systems transformation program integrating people, process, technology, and data.
Earlier in her career, she held senior HR leadership roles including Human Resources Director Asia Pacific at Equifax, Executive General Manager People and Performance at Veda, Human Resources Director at Westpac, and multiple executive HR and risk leadership positions at Boral Limited and Allianz Australia Limited, building deep expertise in transformation, workforce enablement, and organizational performance.
