London, United Kingdom, July 2026 — WPP Media has appointed Darren Minshall as its Chief People Officer, strengthening its executive leadership team as the global media collective continues to accelerate intelligent growth in the AI era. In his new role, Darren will lead the organization’s global people strategy, focusing on talent, organizational transformation, leadership capability, culture, and workforce innovation across WPP Media’s international operations.
Darren Minshall brings more than 25 years of global human resources leadership experience, having built an outstanding career leading people strategy, organizational transformation, executive coaching, and business scaling across media, technology, digital, creative, e-commerce, and private equity-backed organizations.
Prior to joining WPP Media, Darren founded GrowthScope, where he advised organizations, private equity firms, venture capital-backed businesses, and executive leadership teams on people strategy, organizational design, business transformation, leadership development, executive coaching, and value creation. Through GrowthScope, he partnered with companies undergoing rapid growth, international expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transformation across multiple sectors.
Most recently, Darren served as Global Vice President – People (Fractional) at Native Instruments, where he partnered with the CEO, executive leadership team, and private equity owner Francisco Partners to drive organizational transformation ahead of a change of ownership. He led restructuring initiatives, developed the global people strategy across talent attraction, retention, development, and operations, while strengthening leadership capability and organizational effectiveness across Europe and the United States.
Earlier, Darren was Global Chief People Officer at Berlin Brands Group, where he led the transformation of the company’s global people organization across Europe, Asia, and North America. Working closely with executive leadership and private equity investors, he established a globally connected people strategy, redesigned organizational structures, strengthened leadership capability, and supported the transformation of one of Europe’s fastest-growing e-commerce businesses.
His career also includes senior transformation and people leadership assignments with XTEL, MullenLowe Group UK, DNEG, Amazon (Sizmek by Amazon), and Resolver Group, where he advised businesses on organizational effectiveness, employee experience, hybrid working, leadership development, people integration, and large-scale change management.
Earlier in his career, Darren served as Chief People Officer at Havas UK, Group HR & Talent Director for Saatchi & Saatchi UK, Nordics & Prague, People & Development Director at McCann Worldgroup, Head of Human Resources at Lime Pictures, Regional HR Manager at Bauer Media, and held HR leadership positions with BAE Systems and Co-operative Financial Services, building deep expertise across media, advertising, entertainment, technology, and financial services.
