Taylor joined MYR Group over two decades ago and has played a pivotal role in various capacities within the human resources department. Her recent promotion in March 2024 from Director to Senior Director of HR Business Partners in the Thornton, Colorado office marks a key milestone in her extensive career. In this role, she continues to leverage her expertise in employee relations, performance management, and HR policies to enhance workforce planning and talent management across the company.

Prior to her current position, Taylor was the Director, HR Business Partners at MYR Group, where she led the development, planning, and implementation of comprehensive HR strategies from 2019 to 2024. Her work included building strong relationships with operations executives and implementing employment law requirements across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring the company’s compliance and strategic alignment with industry standards.

Before joining MYR Group, Taylor served as Director of Human Capital Management, where she focused on change management, workforce planning, and succession planning from 2015 to 2019. Her efforts were integral in unifying the company culture, especially during mergers and acquisitions, and she played a key role in aligning the company’s long-term strategic goals with its HR operations.

Throughout her career, Taylor has managed complex employee relations issues and developed HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness. From leading HR initiatives at various organizations to coaching managers on performance management, her comprehensive approach to HR has driven significant improvements in employee engagement and retention.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
