Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 2025 – Egis, a leading global firm in architecture, consulting, engineering, and operations, has announced the appointment of Nermin Moussa as HR Director for the Middle East & South Asia. Bringing over 15 years of extensive experience across multinational organizations, Nermin is known for her strategic, people-centric leadership and her ability to build high-performing teams while nurturing inclusive and sustainable work cultures.
In her new role, Nermin will lead the human resources function across Egis’ Middle East and South Asia operations, driving workforce planning, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives to strengthen the company’s regional presence and align HR strategy with its global sustainability and growth vision.
Before joining Egis, Nermin Moussa served at Ericsson for more than 12 years, holding key leadership roles including Senior Director – People & Compliance Champion and Regional Head of Talent Acquisition for the Middle East and Africa. She played an instrumental role in advancing Ericsson’s HR transformation, building robust talent pipelines, and embedding a culture of compliance, innovation, and empowerment across the region.
Earlier, she worked with Baker Hughes, where she held several strategic HR positions such as Global HR Business Partner for Integrated Operations and Talent Acquisition Manager for the Middle East. During her tenure, she designed and executed people strategies that supported complex global operations and cross-functional teams, contributing to organizational growth and cultural alignment.
Prior to Baker Hughes, Nermin was Regional Recruitment Manager – MEPA at Standard Chartered Bank, where she strengthened the bank’s talent acquisition framework and led executive hiring strategies across the Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa.
She began her career with GulfBankers Executive Search as Director – UAE, managing leadership hiring for financial institutions, and Skill-Link.com as Operations Manager, where she developed early expertise in operations, recruitment, and client partnerships.
