Tel Aviv District, Israel, November 2025 — Or Lustig has been appointed as Chief Business Officer at Matrix Medika, marking a strategic move that reflects his deep expertise in business development, innovation, and technology-led healthcare transformation. In his new role, Or will lead global business strategy, partnerships, and collaborations across digital health and medical technology sectors, accelerating Matrix Medika’s mission to turn healthcare innovation into certified, market-ready medical products.
Or has been a part of Matrix Medika for over a year, previously serving as Vice President of Business Development, where he led strategic growth initiatives, strengthened client partnerships, and expanded the company’s footprint in digital health and medtech ecosystems. His strong network and business acumen have been instrumental in scaling Matrix Medika’s collaborations with startups and healthcare institutions worldwide.
Alongside his leadership role, Or serves as Director of Industry Relations at the University of Haifa, where he fosters partnerships between academia, startups, and technology companies, bridging education and innovation. He also continues to contribute as a Senior Lecturer, sharing his experience in entrepreneurship and strategic business development with future leaders in technology management.
Previously, Or co-founded and led Seatback, a pioneering wellness tech startup later acquired by Movement – The Wellness Company, where he also served as Head of Business Development. He has held leadership and advisory roles with organizations such as Lynx Venture Studio and Gynamics, driving R&D initiatives and supporting early-stage ventures in scaling operations.
Or’s early engineering career with Calore Medical Ltd, Nana Engineers Ltd, and Baccara Ltd provided him a strong technical foundation, complemented by his global experience as a Young Emissary for The Jewish Agency for Israel in Providence, Rhode Island. An MBA graduate from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, he combines business leadership with technical excellence, making him a driving force in Israel’s medtech and innovation landscape.
