Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — IMCD Group has expanded the responsibilities of Sudeep Sharma, who will now lead the Talent Management and Learning & Development portfolio for Asia Pacific (APAC) in addition to his current role as Director – Human Resources, India & Bangladesh.
In his expanded regional role, Sharma will be responsible for talent management, succession planning, leadership development, capability building, and learning and development initiatives across IMCD’s Asia-Pacific operations. His focus will include strengthening talent visibility, building succession pipelines, developing future-ready capabilities, and aligning people development strategies with business priorities across the region.
Sharma has been associated with IMCD Group for more than eight years and has progressed through several HR leadership positions within the organization.
Prior to taking on this regional responsibility, he served as Director – Human Resources, India & Bangladesh, leading the HR function across both markets. In this role, he was responsible for driving people strategy, organizational effectiveness, process transformation, leadership development, employee engagement, and talent initiatives while partnering closely with local and global stakeholders.
Earlier, he held successive leadership roles including Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, Chief Manager – Human Resources, and Manager – Human Resources, contributing to the evolution of IMCD India’s people practices and organizational capabilities.
Before joining IMCD Group, Sharma spent more than three years with Piramal Enterprises Limited, where he held roles in both Talent Management & Leadership Development and HR Business Partnering.
During his tenure, he conceptualized and implemented the IGNITE leadership development program, designed to identify and develop future leaders within the Piramal Group. He also partnered closely with manufacturing operations across multiple locations, supporting HR transformation, talent initiatives, and organizational effectiveness programs.
Earlier in his career, Sharma served as HR Business Partner at Global InfoTech Securitas Pvt. Ltd., where he led HR activities at a national level and played a key role in developing the organization’s HR policies, employee handbook, performance management framework, and governance processes.
Throughout his career, Sharma has developed expertise across talent management, leadership development, succession planning, organizational development, HR business partnering, employee engagement, workforce planning, capability building, coaching, and people strategy.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources from Indira Institute of Management, Pune.
