Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 – Sumanas Kar has joined Nvest as Senior Vice President – APAC Sales, strengthening the company’s regional growth leadership as it expands its footprint across Asia-Pacific markets.
In his new role, Sumanas will lead APAC sales strategy, driving market expansion, enterprise engagement, and revenue growth across the BFSI ecosystem. Nvest delivers geography-agnostic solutions that address real-world business challenges in insurance and financial services, and Sumanas expressed enthusiasm about being part of a team focused on innovation-driven transformation across markets.
Prior to joining Nvest, Sumanas spent over three years at Vymo Asia, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles including Director – Insurance GTM, Regional Sales Director – South Asia, and Senior Regional Sales Director – Asia. During this tenure, he led insurance-focused go-to-market strategies and regional sales initiatives across key Asian markets.
Earlier, he served as Vice President – Business Development at C2L BIZ Solutions Pvt Ltd, managing end-to-end P&L across India, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. His responsibilities included business planning, digital transformation consulting for C-suite executives, relationship management, and leading cross-functional deployment teams to drive sustainable growth.
Sumanas also held leadership roles at OneInsure as Head – E Business, overseeing digital assets, marketing, product, and automation initiatives. His earlier career includes significant sales and channel leadership experience at PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd, Aviva India, and ICICI Prudential, where he built deep expertise in bancassurance, channel sales, and relationship-based growth strategies.
He holds a PGDBM in Marketing from the Institute for Technology and Management.
