Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Alliance Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd has appointed Sunil Vidhate as Divisional Director, recognizing his nearly two decades of expertise across leading organizations in the insurance sector. In his new role, Sunil will focus on driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint in specialty and corporate risk solutions.
Sunil has been with Alliance Insurance Brokers for close to 15 years, where he has played multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Associate Director – Specialty & Financial Institutions Group, overseeing key accounts and delivering innovative risk management solutions. Prior to that, as Business Head, he led teams to deliver consistent growth, while building strong client partnerships across industries.
Before taking on business leadership roles, he contributed as Vice President – Corporate Solutions and Assistant Vice President – Corporate Solutions, where he was responsible for driving top and bottom-line growth, brokering accounts, managing underwriting authority, and designing tailored solutions to enhance client risk portfolios.
Earlier in his career, Sunil worked with TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited as Senior Manager – Corporate Risk Solutions Group, managing corporate clients and developing customized insurance strategies. He also gained valuable experience at ICICI Lombard as Manager – Corporate & Channel, where he played a pivotal role in client retention, corporate acquisition, and partner-led distribution strategies. He began his career at Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd. as a Marine Underwriter, building a solid foundation in insurance underwriting and portfolio management.
Sunil holds an MBA in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which provided him with a strong academic foundation for his corporate journey.
