United Arab Emirates, June 2024 – Ibrahim Hamed has taken on the role of Vice President Learning and Development at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). With a robust background in learning and development, organizational culture, and banking, Ibrahim brings extensive expertise in managing and developing training programs and driving organizational growth. His experience in leading L&D initiatives across various regions will be instrumental in his new role at FAB.
Ibrahim Hamed joins First Abu Dhabi Bank after his tenure at Banque Misr, where he served as the Head of L&D and Organization Culture for approximately 2 years and 9 months. In this role, he led the learning and development initiatives and fostered a positive organizational culture in Cairo, Egypt.
Prior to Banque Misr, Ibrahim worked at Emirates NBD as an Area Manager for about 7 years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. During his tenure, he managed various branches, focusing on operational efficiency, customer service excellence, and team development.
Ibrahim also served as a Senior Management Consultant at Bensouda Consulting for around 4 years and 7 months. Based in Dubai, he was responsible for designing and delivering learning programs, providing one-to-one coaching sessions, and managing several high-impact projects for banks in the UAE.
Before that, Ibrahim was a Relationship Manager at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank for approximately 2 years and 10 months. In this role, he managed wealth management portfolios and provided personalized financial solutions to clients.
Earlier in his career, Ibrahim worked as a Relationship Officer at Mashreqbank for about a year, focusing on bancassurance, and as a Life Insurance Advisor at Allianz for around 2 years. He also gained experience in logistics at GlaxoSmithKline for about a year in Cairo, Egypt, where he managed shipment specifications and audits.
