Rajesh Nair joins Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. with a robust background in human resources management. Before this role, Rajesh served as the Executive President & CHRO at Polycab India Limited for approximately 3 years. During his tenure, he successfully set up all HR verticals, including Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Talent Management, HR Technology & Analytics, and HR Business Partnering. Rajesh played a crucial role in conceptualizing and setting up Polycab’s corporate office in Mumbai, creating HR strategies to support business growth, and driving cultural transformation.

Prior to Polycab, Rajesh had a remarkable career at Tata Motors spanning over 28 years. He held various leadership roles, including Head HR Commercial Vehicles – Sales & Customer Care, General Manager HR – Corporate, and several roles in sales, marketing, and new business development within the Passenger Vehicle Business. His strategic HR initiatives significantly improved organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement across multiple business units.
