Pasadena, California, United States, April 2025 – Barbara Stafford has been named Vice President Human Resources at ACCO Engineered Systems, one of the nation’s largest mechanical contractors. In this leadership role, Barbara will oversee HR strategy and operations across the organization, shaping the company’s people experience and aligning workforce development with business growth and innovation.
Before joining ACCO, Barbara Stafford served as VP of Human Resources / People Experience (PX) at Best Formulations for nearly 6 years, where she led comprehensive people strategies and helped cultivate a culture centered on collaboration, compliance, and employee wellness. Her role included aligning HR programs with organizational goals while elevating the employee experience across diverse teams.
Previously, she held a long and impactful tenure at A-Z Bus Sales, Inc., where she worked as Human Resources Director for over 14 years. Barbara played a pivotal role in the organization’s growth by building a robust HR function, managing talent acquisition, compliance, training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and wellness initiatives—all contributing to sustained organizational effectiveness and workforce engagement.
She also served as Chair for the Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA), where she provided leadership across the Southern California HR community and helped shape the direction of the organization’s district strategy, board engagement, and member development.
