Rowley Regis, England, United Kingdom, June 2025 – Kirsty Morris has been appointed as Head of People at Black Country Housing Group (BCHG). In this role, she will spearhead people strategy, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives aligned with BCHG’s commitment to delivering positive social impact across the communities it serves in the Black Country and Birmingham.
Kirsty Morris has been with Black Country Housing Group for over three years, steadily progressing through key HR roles. Most recently, she served as Human Resources Business Partner, where she played an integral part in driving organizational development, culture change, and employee relations. Prior to that, she held the roles of HR and OD Advisor and Human Resources Advisor, contributing significantly to the development of HR policies and hybrid working strategies.
Earlier, Kirsty spent approximately one year at Birmingham City Council as a Human Resources Advisor, where she specialized in employee relations and worked closely with trade unions and management teams to implement effective organizational strategies.
She also gained HR experience through Hays, where she served in a Human Resources Advisor capacity on an agency assignment, offering front-line HR support on policy matters and employee concerns.
Kirsty began her career in people management with retail leaders, spending over five years as People Manager at John Lewis & Partners and nearly eight years as Manager at The Perfume Shop, where she developed strong foundations in leadership, team development, and employee engagement.
