New York, United States, July 2025 – Colette Salvatore Whitaker has been appointed as Head of People Partnerships, Branding & Innovation, Brand Image & GIC at Ralph Lauren. In this elevated role, Colette will drive the people strategy at the intersection of branding, innovation, and talent for the company’s global image, with a special focus on the Global Innovation Center (GIC). Her mandate includes leading the alignment of talent practices with the company’s iconic brand values, amplifying the employee experience, and enhancing employer branding efforts worldwide.
Colette brings over eleven years of progressive experience at Ralph Lauren, having held pivotal roles across People & Development and Human Resources. Most recently, she served as People & Development Lead (Senior Director, Human Resources) – Advertising & Marketing, where she contributed to driving talent management and organizational effectiveness for Ralph Lauren’s creative and marketing functions.
Her earlier positions include Human Resources Director, Global People & Development – Digital & Content, and Human Resources Director, Global People & Development – Creative Services, underscoring her expertise in supporting creative talent across the brand’s diverse divisions.
Before assuming director-level responsibilities, Colette managed HR for Club Monaco and Ralph Lauren Stores, where she honed her expertise in employee relations, talent development, and HR operations. She began her professional journey at Ralph Lauren as a Talent Acquisition Intern and Community Relations Intern, later moving into an HR Coordinator role—experiences that gave her a strong foundation in recruitment, employee engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. Her early exposure to real estate and community relations at Massey Knakal Real Estate further broadened her understanding of people-centered business functions.
