Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2025 – Dipty Jalan has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (Senior Vice President – HR) at Usha International, marking her return to the company in a larger leadership role. In her new capacity, Dipty will be responsible for shaping Usha’s HR strategy, talent development, and cultural transformation aligned with the company’s business growth and employee-centric philosophy.
Dipty re-joins Usha International after a brief tenure as Corporate Vice President – Head Talent Management, Learning, Culture and OD at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, where she led enterprise-wide capability building, leadership development, and organizational transformation efforts.
Prior to her move to Axis Max Life, Dipty spent over nine years at Usha International, holding multiple leadership roles including Vice President – Head of Talent Management, L&D, D&I, HR Operations, and Regional HRBP. During this time, she played a pivotal role in shaping organizational culture, strengthening HR operations, and driving transformation across the organization. Her leadership spanned critical areas such as compensation, organization development, diversity and inclusion, and skill development.
Before joining Usha, she served as Assistant Director – OD, L&D, and Employee Engagement at Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (MTS), where she led performance management systems, hi-potential development, and employee engagement strategies. Her contributions also included leading national interventions for managerial effectiveness and culture building.
Dipty began her career at Right Management, where she spent close to six years as Program Manager and Project Leader, delivering strategic HR consulting projects across HR systems, organization design, talent management, and career outplacements for a range of leading Indian companies. Her earlier experience also includes roles at McKinsey & Co. (Knowledge Centre) and an internship in employer branding at Dell.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar, and a strong foundation in consulting, talent strategy, and HR transformation.
