Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Maheima Kapur has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Kayura, a modern skincare brand blending Ayurvedic wisdom with advanced science. In this new role, she will lead brand strategy, digital innovation, and global growth initiatives to further strengthen Kayura’s positioning in the competitive skincare market.
Maheima most recently worked with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru, where she designed and launched MANAM, a mental and emotional wellness program for students. She researched student well-being needs, created brand guidelines, built a digital platform, and developed content strategies to normalize conversations around wellness.
Before this, she worked as an Independent Consultant in Digital Transformation (Marketing & Product), partnering with multiple organizations including Nutriwiz, Indiginus, Vectura Fertin Pharma, The Media Ant, and MAHE Bengaluru. Her consulting assignments spanned consumer research, GTM strategy, SEO setup, product design, and digital communication strategies, helping brands build strong customer experiences.
Earlier, Maheima held leadership roles at Design Cafe, where she led marketing, sales, and customer experience initiatives. She focused on optimizing user journeys, improving CAC efficiency, automating lead generation, and building large-scale marketing and sales teams. Her work here earned industry recognition, including ET Digi Plus Silver for SEO-led growth.
She also founded Talking Street, a culinary tourism marketplace, which created unique food and travel experiences across India. The venture was recognized under Elevate by the Government of Karnataka, selected for Google Launchpad Build, and featured in leading publications like The Hindu and YourStory.
Her earlier career includes impactful stints at Britannia Industries Limited and Tata Consumer Products, where she contributed to product innovation, brand building, and digital marketing initiatives. She began her career with Unilever, gaining hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and rural outreach, including leading the relaunch of Lifebuoy Hand Wash and the award-winning Swastha Chetna CSR campaign.
