Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Lockton, the world’s largest privately held, independent insurance broker, has announced the appointment of Hanmant Dudle as Senior Director to lead its Property & Construction Practice in India. With over two decades of diverse experience, spanning large-scale plant operations, insurance underwriting, and broking, Hanmant brings a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise and strategic risk management proficiency to Lockton India.
In his most recent role at Howden, Mr. Dudle led the Property and Marine practice along with overseeing the Large Account practice, fostering business expansion and strengthening client partnerships. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at ICICI Lombard as Head of Engineering Insurance Underwriting, where he led teams, managed marquee client relationships, and delivered customized solutions for some of India’s largest industrial and infrastructure projects.
In his new role at Lockton, Dudle will drive the Property & Construction practice, engaging with CXOs, promoters, and boards to deliver bespoke insurance solutions. Concentrating on marquee clients and large-scale accounts, his extensive background in Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing will be key in supporting complex projects and enhancing resilience at both operational and financial levels.
