Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Amitesh Osta has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at MRG Group, where he will lead the Group’s people strategy, talent development, and organizational culture across its hospitality, real estate, education, and infrastructure businesses.
Prior to this appointment, Amitesh was with METRO Wholesale India, where he contributed significantly in human resources leadership, strengthening employee relations, and driving talent management and development initiatives.
Earlier, he worked at AB InBev GCC India, where he played a key role in HR shared services, employee relations, and compliance. Before that, he was with Johnson & Johnson, leading HR functions in consumer supply chain, with a focus on workforce management and leadership development.
He began his career at Unilever, where he gained extensive experience across employee relations, HR shared services, and business partnering, developing expertise in people processes, HR technology, and talent engagement.
Amitesh holds a P.G.D.P.M in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Xavier Institute of Social Service and a Graduation in Advertising & Marketing from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi.
