London, United Kingdom, September 2025 — Shona Molyneux has joined Elcella as Chief Financial Officer, becoming part of the founding team to drive international expansion and growth. In her new role, she will focus on scaling sales, production, and financial control as the company advances its mission to address the global obesity crisis through natural, science-based solutions.
Before joining Elcella, Shona served as Chief Financial Officer at IntelliSense.io, where she played a pivotal role in guiding the company from seed to Series B funding. Over her five years there, she strengthened financial governance, drove strategic planning, and supported global expansion.
Earlier, she was with the Bank of England, where she served as Chief Operating Officer (Risk) and Senior Supervisor, overseeing regulatory compliance, financial forecasting, and governance initiatives.
Previously, she gained entrepreneurial and financial leadership experience as Finance Director at ThisWay Global and in earlier finance and operational roles with Korrall and KISS Communications.
Shona began her career at EY, where she worked as an Audit Executive and Corporate Finance Executive, developing expertise in auditing, private equity, and mergers & acquisitions. She later took on commercial roles at Orange, serving as Head of Business Development and Business Review Manager, before returning to senior finance leadership positions.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from the University of Oxford.
