New York, United States, September 2025 – M33 Growth has announced the appointment of Lauren Slutsky as Head of Talent | Growth Equity. In this role, she will oversee talent strategy across the firm’s growth equity portfolio, supporting founders and CEOs in scaling their organizations and driving long-term value creation.
Before joining M33 Growth, Lauren was VP People at Backflip, where she focused on building culture, driving organizational effectiveness, and leading people strategies that supported the company’s rapid scaling journey in the proptech sector.
Earlier, she spent over four years with MANTL as VP People and Talent, where she led end-to-end HR, talent acquisition, and organizational development. During her tenure, MANTL was acquired by Alkami, underscoring her contributions in strengthening people and culture functions through a high-growth acquisition process.
Previously, Lauren was Head of Talent and People Operations at ValuePenguin, where she developed the people infrastructure that supported the company’s growth trajectory until its acquisition by LendingTree. She also served as People Operations, HR & Talent Manager at Yieldbot, where she founded the Talent & People function during a period of rapid growth. Yieldbot was recognized on Deloitte’s 2016 Technology Fast 500™ and Crain’s Best Places to Work under her leadership.
She began her career in executive search as a Research Associate at Dynamics Search Partners, followed by a role as Senior Account Manager at Felix – Intelligent Local Advertising, which was later acquired by IAC.
