Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, September 2025 — Medtronic has announced the appointment of Lindsay Sexton as Senior Director Human Resources. In this role, Lindsay will focus on advancing Medtronic’s people agenda, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation aligned with the company’s mission to transform healthcare.
Lindsay joins Medtronic after more than nine years at UnitedHealth Group, where she most recently served as Senior Director Human Resources. In this capacity, she led enterprise-wide HR strategies, with a strong focus on coaching, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development. Her earlier tenure at UnitedHealth Group also included roles as Human Resources Business Partner and Associate Human Resources Business Partner, where she partnered closely with business leaders to enable growth and talent transformation.
Before her HR leadership journey, Lindsay spent over a decade at Target Corporation, where she served as Store Director. In this role, she developed deep expertise in retail operations, large-scale people management, and customer-centric workforce strategies, laying the foundation for her strong HR leadership career.
With her appointment, Medtronic gains a people leader who combines operational expertise with human resources acumen, positioning her to help strengthen employee engagement and leadership capability across the organization.
