Bengaluru ,Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Subhajit Deb has joined Cargill as Global Head – Cyber Engineering and Technology Operations, where he leads a global organization dedicated to safeguarding one of the world’s largest and most complex digital ecosystems. In this strategic leadership role, he oversees the development and operation of next-generation cybersecurity platforms that span network, endpoint, cloud, data, and identity security. With a strong focus on reliability, automation, and an SRE mindset, Subhajit is driving engineering excellence and building a world-class cyber defense capability to secure the technology that powers Cargill’s mission of nourishing the world safely and sustainably.
Before joining Cargill, Subhajit served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Head of Information Technology at Envoy Global, where he strengthened enterprise resilience and cybersecurity governance. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles including Global CISO and Data Protection Officer for APAC at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he drove data protection initiatives across 19 geographies.
He also served as Executive Vice President at Dhani and as CISO at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, leading strategic oversight of information security, business continuity, and regulatory compliance. Subhajit’s career further includes leadership contributions at SMBC Group, Bank of America, and Dell Technologies, where he honed his expertise in cyber threat intelligence, IT risk management, and digital trust.
With over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, IT governance, and digital transformation, Subhajit is known for his deep technical acumen and visionary leadership. His appointment marks a key step in strengthening Cargill’s cyber resilience, global security posture, and commitment to operational excellence.
