Amit has been an integral part of EAAA Alternatives for more than 18 years, most recently serving as President & Head – Private Credit, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s private credit platform. As one of the founding members of EAAA’s private credit business, he was deeply involved in business development, portfolio management, team building, and product innovation — helping establish EAAA as a trusted leader in India’s alternatives ecosystem.
His professional expertise spans credit investing, asset management, deal structuring, special situation investing, and business turnaround. Known for his strategic foresight and disciplined approach, Amit has successfully managed complex portfolios and delivered sustainable results across market cycles. A rank-holder Chartered Accountant, he combines strong financial acumen with a people-centric leadership philosophy rooted in transparency and trust.
Before joining EAAA, Amit held key roles at Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd. and PwC Consulting, where he gained extensive experience in restructuring, credit solutions, and advisory services. His long-standing contributions have shaped industry practices in private credit and alternative asset management, earning him recognition as a domain expert and thought leader in the field.
