Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — BDO India, the Indian member firm of BDO Global, has announced the appointment of Rohit Nag as Associate Partner – Corporate Finance & Investment Banking. In this strategic leadership role, Rohit will spearhead initiatives across fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integrations, strengthening BDO India’s financial advisory and deal execution capabilities. With over two decades of experience spanning investment banking, corporate finance, and strategy, Rohit brings a wealth of expertise in driving value creation through complex financial transactions.
In his new role, Rohit will focus on enhancing BDO India’s market presence within the corporate finance domain by leveraging his extensive background in deal structuring, strategic partnerships, and client advisory excellence. His appointment reflects the firm’s continued commitment to expanding its advisory footprint and delivering end-to-end transaction support to clients across industries.
Before joining BDO India, Rohit served as Vice President – Strategy and Operations at Moglix, where he led strategic mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration initiatives, contributing significantly to the company’s rapid growth and operational scalability. His expertise in corporate strategy and M&A execution played a key role in shaping Moglix’s inorganic expansion roadmap.
Earlier in his career, Rohit spent nearly seven years at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. as Director – Investment Banking, where he led multiple high-value transactions across diverse sectors. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Cipher-Plexus Capital Advisors, Mape Group, PwC, and Infosys Technologies Ltd., gaining multifaceted experience in investment banking, business development, and technology-driven solutions.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi (IIT BHU), Rohit combines deep analytical rigor with strategic foresight. His appointment underlines BDO India’s vision of strengthening its leadership team with professionals who can integrate financial expertise, innovation, and strategic advisory to deliver measurable client impact.
