Chicago, Illinois, United States, December 2025 — Philip Kelley has started a new position as Chief People and Culture Officer at JCFS Chicago, where he will lead the organization’s people and culture agenda in support of its mission-driven work across communities. In this role, he is responsible for strengthening organizational culture, advancing people practices, and supporting employees who deliver critical social, emotional, and disability services across the region.
In his new role at JCFS Chicago, Philip Kelley joins the senior leadership team to oversee people and culture initiatives for the organization, aligning workforce practices with JCFS Chicago’s commitment to supporting individuals, families, and communities of all ages and abilities.
Prior to this appointment, Philip served as Vice President of People and Culture at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, where he led people strategy for a mission-focused organization dedicated to equity, empowerment, and community impact. His work there focused on strengthening organizational culture and supporting teams delivering critical community services.
Earlier, he spent over four years at Ceannate Corp. (IonTuition), where he progressed through senior leadership roles including Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources and Recruiting, leading HR strategy, talent acquisition, and people operations across the organization.
Philip has also held diverse leadership roles spanning people management and operations, including Director of Residential Properties at Boyd Kelley Properties and Senior Director of Global Human Resources at Utopia Global, Inc. His earlier career includes HR leadership and business partner roles at Canopy Financial, Museum of Science and Industry, Infosys Technologies Ltd, and Aon Consulting / Hewitt Associates, giving him broad experience across nonprofit, professional services, technology, and global organizations.
