Smithfield, Rhode Island, United States, December 2025 – Shawn Hooley has taken on a new leadership role as Vice President, Mobile Engineering at Fidelity Investments, marking a significant milestone in his technology leadership career. In this role, he will lead Fidelity’s mobile engineering strategy, strengthening digital product innovation, mobile platform scalability, and customer-centric digital experiences across Fidelity’s rapidly expanding financial services ecosystem.
In his most recent tenure, Shawn Hooley served as Director, Mobile Development and Chapter Lead – Mobile Experiences at Fidelity Investments, where he played a critical role in shaping mobile engineering standards, strengthening platform performance, and leading agile mobile engineering teams across large-scale digital transformation programs.
Prior to joining Fidelity, he held the position of Senior Manager, Engineering at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where he led enterprise-scale mobile and digital engineering initiatives focused on secure, customer-first healthcare platforms.
Earlier in his career, Shawn Hooley built deep digital banking expertise through leadership roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Citizens Bank, where he led iOS and mobile platform modernization, implemented CI/CD pipelines, and drove mobile innovation programs supporting large consumer banking ecosystems.
Across his career, he has also held senior engineering and mobile leadership roles at Kurt Salmon Digital (Accenture Strategy), Mobispoke, Dossia Service Corporation, and Amicas, building a strong foundation in mobile architecture, large-scale application development, and enterprise digital transformation.
