In his new role, Rovelli will contribute to strengthening Goldman Sachs’ investment and capital markets capabilities, supporting clients across complex private equity and asset management mandates.
In his current chapter at Goldman Sachs, Robert Rovelli joins the firm after building deep expertise in private equity secondaries and alternative investment strategies. His appointment reflects Goldman Sachs’ focus on strengthening its bench of senior investment professionals across high-impact capital markets and asset management portfolios.
Prior to this move, Rovelli spent nearly seven years at Coller Capital, where he progressed from Investment Associate to Vice President. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in executing and managing private equity secondary investments, evaluating portfolio companies and fund managers, and supporting global investment strategies across diversified asset classes.
Earlier in his career, he was associated with Hamilton Lane, where he worked as a Private Equity Secondaries Analyst, gaining foundational exposure to alternative investments, fund analysis, and transaction execution.
Rovelli began his professional journey through multiple finance and investment internships and analyst roles, including stints at CapWealth Advisors and Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management consulting programs, where he developed strong financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis capabilities.
Robert Rovelli holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Vanderbilt University – Owen Graduate School of Management, where he developed advanced expertise in investment analysis, financial strategy, and capital markets.
