Washington DC–Baltimore Area, United States, January 2026 – Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) has announced the appointment of Jennie Fay as Chief People and Culture Officer. In this role, she will lead NFTE’s global people, culture, and leadership development agenda, strengthening organizational capability and enabling the nonprofit’s mission of empowering young people through entrepreneurship education.
Jennie Fay has built a distinguished career spanning nonprofit leadership, public service, education, and people development. Prior to this appointment, she served as Chief of Staff at NFTE, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening internal operations, governance processes, and organizational alignment while supporting executive leadership on strategic priorities.
Earlier, she founded JMF Consulting Group, a management and leadership development firm focused on people-centered organizational solutions. She also served as Senior Advisor at Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service, contributing to leadership development initiatives and public service programming.
Jennie previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Citizen Congress, where she designed business operations, established organizational culture frameworks, and led executive teams for the civic technology startup. She also held academic leadership and development roles at Georgetown University, including Director of Programming and Guest Lecturer, building student leadership pipelines and professional development ecosystems.
Her earlier public service career includes senior personnel leadership roles within the Executive Office of the President of the United States, where she served as Special Assistant to the President and Director of White House Personnel and previously as Director and Deputy Director of White House Personnel, leading workforce operations, personnel policy frameworks, leadership development programs, and large-scale organizational change across the White House and Executive Office of the President. She began her career in legislative leadership as Legislative Director to Senator Steven A. Tolman and earlier served on the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee supporting Senator Edward Kennedy. Jennie holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Education Policy from The George Washington University.
