Singapore, January 2026 — FNZ, the global wealth-technology platform powering some of the world’s largest financial institutions, has appointed Sanjeev Chatrath as Managing Director, Asia, further strengthening its leadership bench as it accelerates regional growth across the Asia-Pacific wealth and investment ecosystem.
In his new role, Sanjeev Chatrath will be responsible for shaping and executing FNZ’s commercial strategy across Asia, with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth and long-term client impact. He will lead complex, enterprise-level engagements with financial institutions, wealth managers, asset managers, insurers and strategic partners, while scaling FNZ’s platform-led solutions that support better investment outcomes for clients.
Prior to joining FNZ, Sanjeev served as Partner, Financial Services & Asia Pacific Payments Leader at EY, where he built and scaled the APAC Payments practice and led large-scale transformational engagements across banking, payments, data and AI, risk, wealth management, M&A and strategy for global financial institutions. He consistently delivered industry-leading client outcomes and played a central role as Client Partner to major APAC institutions.
Before EY, Sanjeev was Managing Director, Global Banking and Financial Markets at IBM, where he led over 600 client-facing professionals across Asia, delivered sustained growth across consulting, cloud, software and managed services, and served on IBM’s Global Managing Director Council and Global Markets Council. He was also a recipient of IBM’s prestigious Global Coin for leading through a client lens.
He earlier served as Managing Director, Region Head – Asia, Financial & Risk at Thomson Reuters, where he led a major business turnaround, delivered sustained revenue growth and positioned the Financial & Risk business as a regional market leader through advanced Big Data, AI and blockchain-driven solutions. His leadership significantly enhanced EBITDA contribution and revenue growth across Asia.
Sanjeev also spent nearly a decade at Citi, holding multiple regional leadership roles including Managing Director, Region Head – Client Sales Management, Treasury & Trade Solutions, Asia Pacific, where he led the highest-performing sales region globally and built deep C-suite relationships across 16 countries. He began his career at Standard Chartered Bank, leading product development and payments innovation across Asia, the Middle East and India.
Sanjeev holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance & Marketing) from IMI Delhi.
