Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Shwetank Singh has been appointed Managing Director & CEO of Chalet Hotels Limited. Known for his belief that strong culture and performance excellence go hand in hand, he steps into the role with a people-first philosophy and a disciplined growth mindset. He will lead the organization in strengthening its foundations while unlocking new opportunities for scale and impact.
Before becoming Managing Director & CEO at Chalet Hotels Limited, Shwetank Singh served as Executive Director and a member of the Board, where he led projects, business development, operations, asset management, and ESG functions. Prior to that, as Chief Growth & Strategy Officer, he drove strategic initiatives and oversaw project and business development for the company.
Earlier, he was General Manager Operations at Arenco Real Estate, heading the business for Golden Sands LLC in Dubai and managing a diverse hospitality portfolio that included multiple Hilton, Marriott, and Taj properties. He previously spent several years with InterGlobe Hotels Pvt. Ltd., leading development and asset management functions.
His leadership career also includes senior roles at Premier Inn India, where he served as Regional Vice President and Vice President Sales & Operations, overseeing multi-functional business operations and serving as a full-time Director on the Board. Earlier in his career, he held roles at IL&FS, ABN AMRO Bank, CitiFinancial, and Tata Iron & Steel Co., building a strong foundation in finance, project structuring, and operations.
Chalet Hotels Limited, part of K Raheja Corp, is an owner, developer, asset manager, and operator of high-end hotels and resorts in India. The company operates 11 hotels and resorts with 3,389 keys under globally recognized brands such as JW Marriott, The Westin, and Novotel, with an additional ~1,200 rooms under development. Chalet is also expanding its commercial real estate portfolio and is recognized for its sustainability leadership, including strong performance in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and commitments to major global climate initiatives.
