Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — NatWest Group has appointed Ritu Tushir as Head of Human Resources, India. With over two decades of HR leadership experience, she brings deep expertise in building people-first cultures and strengthening talent strategies across large, complex, multi-geography organizations. In her new role, she will support NatWest Group’s growth in India by driving HR priorities spanning culture, talent, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.
Ritu joins NatWest Group with a strong background across global servicing centers, technology and operations businesses, and shared services environments—building HR strategies that enable scale, performance, and employee experience.
Prior to joining NatWest Group, she served with Northern Trust Corporation as Head of HR, Asia Pacific Servicing Centers, leading HR for the Asia Pacific servicing centers and supporting workforce strategy and people programs across the region.
Before Northern Trust, she spent nearly seven years with American Express, where she served as Vice President, Human Resources, and earlier as Director, Human Resources. In these roles, she led talent strategy for technology and global servicing businesses and drove HR programs across multiple geographies. Her responsibilities included organization-wide change initiatives, culture programs, and strategic HR support for large teams across the Japan, Asia Pacific region and global shared services functions.
Earlier, she held a short-term leadership role at Whirlpool as Director, Human Resources, where she served as Head Corporate HR and led HR for Global Financial Shared Services and Asia HR, covering talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and learning and development initiatives.
She also held an earlier tenure with American Express as Director – Human Resources, where she led HR for customer services and collections businesses, supporting teams across India, Greater China, and South East Asia.
Ritu’s earlier career includes close to nine years with Genpact, where she progressed to Assistant Vice President – Human Resources and held multiple HR leadership roles, including heading HR for key banking clients within global BFSI operations across India and the Philippines.
