Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 – McCormick & Company has appointed Abhinav Goel as GBS India Head and Global Process Improvement Leader, strengthening its leadership bench for global capability building and enterprise-wide transformation. Announcing the move, Goel shared that the role brings together two priorities he cares deeply about—building high-performing global teams and driving sustainable process excellence at scale. In his mandate, he will partner with teams across geographies to expand McCormick’s India GBS footprint, deliver enterprise value, and shape the company’s long-term transformation roadmap.
In this dual role, Abhinav Goel will lead McCormick’s India Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization as a hosted services location and steer the Global Process Improvement (PI) agenda, aligning transformation, operational excellence, and value creation to business strategy and financial objectives. His responsibilities include shaping governance and engagement models for GBS operations, building a multi-year PI roadmap tied to enterprise priorities and growth ambitions, driving productivity and sustainable cost optimization, and leading expansion efforts in India through capability scaling and geographic positioning—while embedding a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
Prior to joining McCormick & Company, Goel spent over two years with Quintes Global | GCC & Enterprise Services Transformation Partner, where he led strategic initiatives and industry engagements. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President – GCC Capabilities and SSF Global, leading the GCC Advisory practice and SSF Global platform, partnering with CXOs and GCC leaders to design transformation roadmaps across process, technology, talent, innovation, and value creation. Before that, he was Vice President – Strategic Initiatives, owning P&L for the GCC Advisory and Transformation vertical and supporting large-scale finance transformation, GBS location strategy and setups, and talent strategy programs.
Earlier, Goel built a significant track record at American Express, spending nearly eight years across senior finance leadership roles. As Vice President – Finance, he led the Record-to-Report function and a large global team responsible for compliance and financial integrity of balance sheet accounts, including accounting for card member payments, merchants, and disputes. During this period, he built and led a 500-member finance operations team, consolidated accounting functions across legal entities, reduced processing time by 40%, transitioned 300+ FTEs to create an accounting COE, and drove automation at scale through re-engineering of 100+ FTEs. Prior to that, as Director – Finance (Controllership), he led a 100+ member team in global account reconciliation with responsibilities spanning reporting, analytics, and compliance.
Goel also served as Chief Financial Officer at PKS Infra Engineers Private Limited, overseeing strategic finance and operational management, including board-level growth planning, project financing, budgeting and controls, project management, and establishment of accounting procedures. Earlier in his career, he was a core member of the leadership team at Google as Manager (Finance Shared Services), helping set up the Finance Center of Excellence in India—covering service delivery and engagement models, governance, SLAs and performance metrics, compliance (including SoX), process improvement through standardization and automation, and team culture building. He began his early leadership track with American Express as Finance Manager, and also held roles with IMG and KPMG.
