Prior to joining Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, Ajit served as the CFO at Transrail Lighting Limited, where he played a crucial role in the company’s IPOs, fundraising, and investor relations. His strategic foresight and deep understanding of financial markets have been pivotal in his successful career.
Ajit’s professional journey also includes significant tenures as Executive Director and Group CFO at OPG Power Ventures Plc, where he oversaw finance, legal, IT, procurement, and mergers & acquisitions across diverse geographical locations including London, Chennai, Dubai, and Singapore. His experience further extends to senior roles at Ghazanfar Group, JSW, and Vedanta Group, enhancing his reputation as a leader capable of steering complex global operations.
An alumnus of prestigious institutions, Ajit holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Chartered Public Financial Accountant (CPFA, UK). These qualifications underpin his strategic approach to financial management and investment.
