This expansive portfolio includes reference materials, analytical devices, instruments, and chromatography solutions. Aman’s commitment to ensuring high-quality and safe products, from food to drugs, has been instrumental in enabling organizations to maintain precision and quality assurance.
Aman’s journey is a testament to the power of dedication and leadership, starting as a sales representative in India and rising to a global leadership position. Aman states, “In my 39 years with the company, I focused on three things: your team makes you better as a leader and human, you should have the willingness to take challenging and uncomfortable roles, and last but not least, lifelong learning.”
In his previous role at MilliporeSigma, Aman served as Global Head, Reference Material from April 2017 to April 2024. Based in Austin, Texas, he led the Global Analytical Reference Material Franchise, ensuring the accuracy of measurements through method calibration, validation, and estimation of measurement uncertainty.
Prior to this, he was the HEAD of Commercial Excellence; Asia, Middle East, and Africa from April 2016 to March 2017 in Singapore. Here, he conceptualized and implemented commercial tools and processes, enhancing sales efficiency and customer experience across the regions.
Aman also held the role of Head Emerging Markets – Asia from August 2012 to April 2016, where he was responsible for Merck Life Science’s operations in Singapore, partnering with the scientific community to offer performance-driven products and services.
His earlier roles include Managing Director of Merck Limited, Thailand, and Director – Chemicals for Merck Limited, India. In these roles, Aman was instrumental in driving business growth and market leadership in laboratory reagents and chemicals.
