Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2025 — Amit Balwani has been appointed as Senior Vice President – Technology at AuthBridge, India’s leading authentication and background verification company. Bringing with him over 20 years of leadership across organizations such as Ecom Express Limited, Paytm, Expedia Group, Nagarro, and Tata Consultancy Services, Amit will now lead technology innovation at AuthBridge to further strengthen its AI-driven verification platforms.
In his previous role as Vice President of Technology at Ecom Express, Amit led the modernization of the logistics tech stack by embedding scalable AI, data engineering, and event-driven architecture. Prior to that, he served as Vice President at Paytm, where he was instrumental in building the company’s conversational platform within an API-first ecosystem. These roles not only enhanced customer experience but also drove process efficiency and digital transformation.
During his tenure at Expedia Group, Amit contributed significantly to Egencia’s key functionalities, first as Engineering Manager and later as Director of Technology, delivering high-impact engineering solutions on a global scale. At Nagarro, he played a pivotal role as Senior Architect within the Java Architecture Group, working on technical POCs, workshops, consulting engagements, and technology frameworks.
Amit began his career at Tata Consultancy Services, where he spent over a decade and rose to the role of Technical Team Lead. His broad-based experience in software development, architecture, and engineering management, coupled with his expertise in cloud, DevOps, and digital transformation, positions him strongly to drive AuthBridge’s next phase of innovation under the theme of “Trust Simplified.”
