Andrea Darweesh has recently been appointed the Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Kaleris, a pioneering logistics technology firm. With a career that spans over two decades in human resources, Darweesh brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of transformative leadership to Kaleris.
Before her latest role, Darweesh operated as the owner and Chief Human Resources Consultant at HR Re-Imagined, LLC, where from March 2019 until April 2024, she worked with global organizations to implement workforce restructuring and leadership development strategies. This role was critical during the pandemic, leading significant changes in remote work policies and crisis communication.
Previously, Darweesh served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Americold Logistics, LLC. During her tenure from September 2016 to August 2019, she was instrumental in driving the company’s global human capital strategy amid its transition from private equity ownership to a public entity, which became the most oversubscribed IPO in the history of Real Estate Investment Trusts.
Her earlier roles included significant HR leadership positions at major corporations such as The Weather Channel and Nordstrom. At The Weather Channel, she was pivotal in navigating the HR landscape during its acquisition by IBM, focusing on organizational performance and talent retention.
