In his new role, Andrew will lead the company’s HR and people strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, organizational development, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. With his background in technical recruitment and people operations, Andrew is well-equipped to support Astrolab’s mission of advancing planetary exploration through innovative talent strategies.
Andrew joined Astrolab nearly two years ago as the People Operations Lead, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s HR infrastructure, managing recruitment, and overseeing employee onboarding and performance management processes. His contributions to Astrolab’s growth and team alignment have been instrumental as the company continues to build a talented workforce committed to its ambitious goals.
Prior to joining Astrolab, Andrew held a series of technical recruitment roles at SpaceX, where he supported the recruitment for critical engineering teams involved in the development of Starship, Super Heavy, and various launch technologies. His experience at SpaceX included talent acquisition for advanced projects that expanded his expertise in sourcing top engineering talent for high-impact roles.
Andrew also held recruitment positions at Formlabs, where he successfully built teams for the EMEA and APAC regions, including forming the engineering team for Formlabs’ Budapest office. His prior experience also includes technical recruitment roles at Akamai Technologies and Lightwave Partners, where he honed his skills in talent sourcing and executive search.
