London, United Kingdom, January 2025 – Andy Wood has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Sibylline Ltd, taking the helm of the company’s financial operations and strategy. In his new role, Andy will be responsible for overseeing Sibylline’s global financial management, driving sustainable growth, and contributing to the company’s mission of providing strategic risk intelligence to clients worldwide.
Andy has been with Sibylline Ltd for over a year and a half, previously serving as Group Finance Director. During his tenure, he played a key role in leading the company’s financial function, supporting operations across the UK, US, Singapore, and Brazil, as well as managing staff across multiple global locations. His leadership contributed significantly to the company’s financial stability and strategic growth.
Before joining Sibylline, Andy held the position of Finance Director at Guinness World Records for over six years. At GWR, he modernized finance systems, led the business partnering function, and implemented processes that drove double-digit growth in the company’s consultancy business. He also played an integral role in governance, providing input on IT, People & Culture, and Legal matters.
Earlier in his career, Andy served in various roles at Sainsbury’s, including as Senior Trading Finance Analyst and Investment Appraisal Analyst, where he contributed to financial control, investment planning, and operational efficiency. His expertise in financial strategy and business planning has been honed through these impactful experiences.
