Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 2025 – Ankit Aneja has been elevated to Group Director HR – GCC, India & Africa at Sporty Group, a leading consumer internet and technology business with global operations across media, gaming, social, and fintech. In his expanded leadership role, Ankit will spearhead the people, performance, and culture agenda across high-growth regions including the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, India, and Africa.

Ankit has been instrumental in shaping the HR function at Sporty Group over the last two and a half years, most recently serving as Group Human Resources Director – GCC & Africa, where he led HR strategies for SportyBet, Sporty Media, and Sporty TV. His focus on organizational agility, global talent acquisition, and cultural integration has helped scale operations across emerging markets with high impact.

Before joining Sporty Group, Ankit served as Head of Talent & Culture for India, Middle East & Africa at DICO Group, where he led initiatives in HR transformation, data analytics, and project management to support growth across multiple geographies. He has also held senior HR leadership roles at Max Life Insurance, where he was Chief Manager HR – Talent Acquisition and Strategic Projects, and at Reddin Partners in Australia, where he provided strategic HR consulting services for clients across APAC.

Earlier in his career, Ankit worked with global firms such as Korn Ferry as Senior Associate – Asia Pacific and Japan, EMA Partners as Senior Consultant – Talent, and Wipro as Sr. Associate – Talent Acquisition, building deep expertise in global HR analytics, DEI initiatives, and leadership hiring across diverse markets.
