Perth, Western Australia, Australia, December 2024 – Antoinette Jago has taken on the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Woodside Energy. In this position, she will lead the company’s information security strategy and operations, ensuring the resilience of Woodside’s digital assets and infrastructure against evolving cybersecurity threats.
Antoinette joined Woodside Energy earlier in 2024 as the Head of Cyber Delivery & Performance, where she played a key role in strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity framework and enhancing its digital risk management capabilities.
Prior to her time at Woodside, Antoinette spent more than a decade with Microsoft in various leadership roles. As an Azure Cloud Solution Specialist, she drove cloud adoption strategies and worked extensively with enterprise clients across industries to implement secure and scalable cloud solutions. Earlier, she served as an Enterprise Security Executive within Microsoft’s Cybersecurity Solutions Group, providing strategic guidance to organizations on enhancing their security postures.
Before Microsoft, Antoinette gained valuable experience at Google as a Program Manager, Geo Ops (EMEA), where she oversaw the operational performance of Google Maps in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Her notable achievements include leading the GT Local Mapmaker program and orchestrating the Olympic Sweep project for the London 2012 Games, which ensured accurate map listings for millions of users.
She began her career in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with roles at Mallon Technology, Department of Transport, and eBay, where she honed her analytical and project management skills.
