Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, February 2026 — Ashley Sjoberg has started a new position as Director, Executive & People Operations at Vessi, stepping into an expanded leadership role within the Vancouver-based all-weather footwear brand. In this position, she will lead executive operations and people strategy, strengthening alignment across leadership, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Ashley most recently served as Senior Manager, Executive Office & People Operations at Vessi, where she played a pivotal role in supporting executive leadership and enhancing operational structure during a period of continued growth. Her progression reflects the company’s confidence in her ability to integrate executive oversight with scalable people operations.
Before joining Vessi, Ashley Sjoberg held leadership roles at BC Parks Foundation, where she served as Executive Administrator + Project Manager, supporting strategic initiatives and managing confidential executive operations within the environmental nonprofit sector.
Earlier, she was part of The House of LR&C, serving as Senior Manager, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and previously as Senior Executive Assistant + Human Resources Administration, contributing to ESG initiatives and people administration during the organization’s mission-driven expansion.
Ashley also built significant executive leadership experience at Saje Natural Wellness as Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO (Chief of Staff), and held executive support roles at Luvo Inc, lululemon athletica, PI Financial Corp, and Investors Group, developing deep expertise in executive management, strategic coordination, communications, and operational planning.
Vessi is a Vancouver-headquartered all-weather footwear brand known for its proprietary 100% waterproof technology and vegan materials. Since launching via Kickstarter in 2018, Vessi has sold over one million pairs of shoes and donated more than $500,000 through its Vessi Community Fund, supporting community projects locally and globally.
