Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, December 2024 – Atena Rabou-Degenkolbe has taken on the role of Head of Talent Acquisition GTM – EMEA & Global Employer Branding at The Stepstone Group, marking a significant leadership appointment in the company’s global operations. In this role, Atena will spearhead talent acquisition strategies across the EMEA region while driving global employer branding initiatives. Her expertise in talent management, recruitment, and branding is set to strengthen The Stepstone Group’s mission of connecting job seekers with the right opportunities globally.
Before stepping into her current position, Atena Rabou-Degenkolbe served as Head of Talent Acquisition Go to Market – EMEA, where she contributed to advancing strategic hiring initiatives across the region. Her leadership in creating innovative hiring strategies has been pivotal in aligning talent acquisition with the company’s growth objectives.
Earlier in 2024, Atena was Head of Talent Acquisition Sales – Germany, focusing on refining recruitment processes to meet business needs. Her role demonstrated her capacity to implement people-centric strategies and nurture strong candidate pipelines.
Before joining The Stepstone Group, Atena held the position of Group Head Employer Branding & Talent Acquisition at OBI Group Holding, where she successfully led initiatives in digital strategy, HR transformation, and leadership development.
With over 9 years at Robert Walters, Atena held various leadership roles, including Teamlead Sales & Digital Marketing & Technology, where she drove consultancy services, active sourcing, and team leadership.
Atena’s early career includes impactful roles in Corporate Marketing & Employer Branding at Gerresheimer and as a Junior Consultant/Account Executive at Drei K – Kommunikation und Marketing Agentur, where she honed her expertise in employer branding and marketing strategies.
