Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 — Bhaskar Roy has been appointed as Head of AI (Customer Experience), Group Digital and Innovation at Tata Sons Limited, where he will lead AI-led transformation initiatives to elevate customer experience across the Tata Group’s diverse business verticals. His appointment signifies a strategic push by Tata Sons to harness artificial intelligence in shaping future-ready customer engagement frameworks.
Bhaskar brings with him over two decades of deep expertise in AI, analytics, and business transformation. Prior to joining Tata Sons, he served at Fractal in several leadership roles, most recently as Client Partner – APAC and Bangalore Center Head, where he spearheaded revenue growth across sectors such as retail, CPG, and automotive. He also led Fractal’s ESG Data and Analytics function, driving data-driven sustainability initiatives for clients across India, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
During his tenure at Fractal, Bhaskar played a crucial role in expanding global consulting capabilities. As Client Partner for Retail in the US and Europe, and Head of Integration for Fractal Ukraine, he was instrumental in scaling international operations. His earlier experience at Accenture, Target, Genpact, and State Bank of India further enriches his understanding of customer analytics, enterprise risk, and applied intelligence at scale.
Bhaskar is also actively engaged in the startup and academic ecosystems as a mentor with institutions such as IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Mandi Catalyst, and Wadhwani Foundation, reflecting his commitment to shaping the future of AI and innovation in India.
