Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Bijaya Kishore Dwivedi has joined Sterling and Wilson as Vice President – Substation & Transmission Line, T&D Business, bringing with him over two decades of extensive experience in India’s power transmission and distribution (T&D) sector. In his new role, he will lead business operations and strategic growth initiatives in the substation and transmission line segment, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering high-performance engineering solutions in the power infrastructure domain.
Before joining Sterling and Wilson, Dwivedi served at Bajaj Electricals Ltd (Engineering & Projects) as Head of Tendering, where he led initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, market analysis, and bid management. During his tenure, he successfully strengthened business development processes and optimized project acquisition strategies to enhance the company’s competitive positioning in the T&D market.
Dwivedi’s earlier tenure of nearly 18 years at Larsen & Toubro was marked by several leadership roles across project management, business development, and engineering execution in the Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) segment. As Head of Business Development – West & Central, he drove large-scale expansion efforts across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh, overseeing projects in EHV substations, transmission lines, and industrial power distribution. His responsibilities also included leading project execution for substations and distribution line works, managing complex stakeholder engagements, and ensuring timely delivery of high-value infrastructure projects.
Dwivedi’s technical depth, combined with his business acumen, positions him as a key enabler in advancing Sterling and Wilson’s strategic goals within India’s rapidly evolving energy infrastructure landscape. His appointment underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and expanding its footprint in the power transmission and distribution sector.
