Charlotte Riley Joins Hamilton Lane as Vice President, Sr. HR Business Partner - EMEA

London, May 2024 – Hamilton Lane, one of the world’s largest private markets investment management firms, has appointed Charlotte Riley as Vice President, Sr. HR Business Partner – EMEA. With a wealth of experience spanning over 14 years in human resources, Charlotte is poised to drive strategic HR initiatives that align with Hamilton Lane’s growth and innovation objectives.

Prior to joining Hamilton Lane, Charlotte served as the Interim Head of HR at Genesis Investment Management LLP from February 2024 to April 2024. During her brief tenure, she was instrumental in overseeing HR strategy and implementing key policies to support business growth.

Earlier, Charlotte was the Global HR Director at MVision Private Equity Advisers, where she led HR strategy, corporate communications, and operations management for one of the world’s leading private equity advisory firms. Her strategic contributions enhanced employee engagement and streamlined HR operations.

Before MVision, she worked as an Interim HR Business Partner at Starr Insurance (August 2016 to April 2017) and HR Business Partner at JLT Group (August 2015 to August 2016). Charlotte’s experience includes her role as Senior HR Advisor at EY from May 2013 to August 2015, where she focused on talent development and employee relations.

In her earlier roles, Charlotte gained valuable HR expertise as an HR Advisor at Catlin (December 2011 to May 2013) and as an HR and CoSec Administrator at Chaucer Syndicates Ltd (August 2010 to December 2011). Her career began with internships at Deutsche Bank and Veolia Environmental Services UK, providing her with foundational knowledge of the HR industry.
