Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain, October 2025 – Ericsson has announced the appointment of Clara Medina Vega as its new Head of Digital Rewards Strategy. In this global role, Clara will lead the digital transformation of reward systems and data-driven compensation strategies to strengthen Ericsson’s people ecosystem worldwide. Her focus will span across integrating analytics, automation, and innovation into reward frameworks that enable a future-ready, connected workforce.
Clara joins Ericsson after an outstanding nine-year tenure at Siemens, where she was most recently the Head of Digitalization at Global Mobility. In this role, she drove the digital transformation journey for Siemens’ global mobility IT suite, establishing strategic roadmaps and innovation frameworks that enhanced operational excellence. Prior to this, she served as Digitalization Project Manager at GBS H2R (Global Mobility Management) and Digital Fin Team Leader, where she led projects leveraging automation, RPA, and data visualization tools such as Tableau to support decision making and financial efficiency.
Earlier at Siemens, Clara served in roles including IT Performance Controller and IT Controller EU1 & Spain, where she was responsible for harmonizing reporting across European countries and initiating digital reporting through end-to-end applications. Her career foundation was built in IT financial controlling, where she drove data transparency and standardized reporting across Siemens’ regional clusters.
Before joining Siemens full-time, Clara worked as an International Trade Advisor at ICEX, supporting Spanish businesses in Germany’s food and plant industries through market reports and international fair participation. She also gained experience at Avon, where she was a Gross Margin Analyst for North Africa and the Middle East, contributing to the implementation of corporate financial systems in emerging markets.
Clara began her career with Siemens South West Europe IT, supporting business administration, forecasting, and budget management for IT services across Spain and the SWE cluster. Her early exposure to cross-border finance and technology operations paved the way for her long-term expertise in digital transformation and IT strategy.
