In this role, she will be responsible for shaping global learning strategies, leadership development, and talent advancement initiatives to drive a high-performing workforce. With a strong background in early career programs, inclusion, and workforce development, Connie brings a wealth of experience in building talent strategies that align with business growth and innovation.
Prior to joining Astellas Pharma, Connie was Senior Manager, GCO Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Amgen, where she played a pivotal role in advancing DEI initiatives and fostering inclusive workplace practices. Earlier, she served as Senior Manager, Early Career Development Programs at Horizon Therapeutics, focusing on talent pipeline strategies, university relations, and career readiness programs.
Before that, Connie led Early Talent Programs at American Family Insurance, where she developed internship pipelines and leadership development programs. She also spent over a decade at Baxter International, holding various roles including Senior Manager, Rotational Development Programs & Global Inclusion & Diversity, where she spearheaded global talent initiatives, workforce planning, and leadership training programs.
Connie began her career at Abbott, where she managed intern programs, university recruitment, and early-career development efforts. Her expertise in talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, and organizational development has positioned her as a key leader in shaping workforce strategies for global organizations.
