Dan Phan Appointed as Chief People Officer at Rikkeisoft

Hanoi, Vietnam, August 2025 – Dan Phan has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Rikkeisoft, marking a significant leadership move for the award-winning Vietnamese IT enterprise. In his new capacity, Phan will be responsible for shaping the company’s people strategy, enhancing talent development, and ensuring Rikkeisoft’s human capital supports its rapid growth and global ambitions.

Phan has been with Rikkeisoft since early 2025, most recently serving as Human Resources Director for eight months, where he played a pivotal role in aligning HR initiatives with strategic business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.

Before joining Rikkeisoft, Phan spent nearly three years with FPT Software in multiple leadership roles. As Division Director at FPT Automotive in Dalian, China, he led a skilled engineering team to deliver innovative solutions for global clients, while earlier as General Manager of the Nanning China Development Center, he successfully established FPT’s first development center in China. Additionally, as Global Expansion Manager, he explored new markets in India, the Philippines, and Romania for the automotive division.

Earlier in his career, Phan served as Head of Engineers at One Mount, leading the team responsible for developing and scaling the VinID app, which reached millions of monthly users. He also held multiple senior positions at FPT Software, including Director of Learning and Development, Chief People Officer, and HR Manager, where he introduced innovative HR policies and benefits that significantly improved retention rates.

Phan’s earlier professional journey includes roles such as CEO of iSystems, Head of Mobile Commercialization Division at Samsung Electronics Vietnam S/W R&D, Lead Software Engineer at Kevvox, and a 14-year tenure as Lecturer at Hanoi University of Technology, where he educated and mentored thousands of students, many of whom went on to hold leadership positions globally. His background also spans research and technical leadership in Vietnam’s first satellite project, PicoDragon, and software development roles at ViaNova System Vietnam and Hài Hòa Ltd.
