London, England, United Kingdom, July 2025 – Dara Odejide has been promoted to Director, People Strategy and Transformation at Virgin Media O2, a leading telecommunications provider in the UK. In this expanded leadership role, Dara will spearhead people transformation and strategy initiatives critical to driving cultural alignment, talent strategy, and operational excellence across the organization.
Over the past three years, Dara has been instrumental in shaping Virgin Media O2’s transformation journey. As Head of Transformation, she led a lean team of ex-consultants across multiple strategic programmes, including the due diligence and scale-up strategy for Altnet acquisitions, and the successful migration of over 3 million customers to a new O2 platform. She also co-developed the enterprise-wide people strategy, focusing on future workforce planning, internal labor synergy, and strategic sourcing. She was also part of the Fast Forward accelerated leadership programme, solving top business challenges across Liberty Global and its operating companies.
Before that, Dara served as Senior Transformation Manager at Virgin Media, where she led enterprise-level programmes focused on customer care, digital transformation, and pre- and post-integration initiatives. She also co-led the Early Life Workflow Programme, aimed at improving customer retention and experience during onboarding.
Earlier in her career, Dara was Engagement Manager and Strategy Lead at the Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation, where she led a five-year strategy refresh project for the World Bank’s Global Financing Facility, conducting over 80 stakeholder interviews and managing a team of eight consultants. Prior to this, she worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, delivering strategy projects across sectors such as healthcare, mining, and banking in Europe and Africa.
Dara’s early career includes roles at Goldman Sachs, where she was a Business Analyst, and Saladmaster, where she served as New Business Manager. She holds an MSc in Management and Human Resources from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is a lifetime member of The Committee of 200 (C200) Scholar Network, a global community of women business leaders.
