Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 — Brookfield has promoted Darshan Vora to Senior Vice President, recognizing his leadership and contributions to the firm’s capital markets and treasury operations in the region.
In his expanded role, Vora will continue to strengthen Brookfield’s capital markets strategy while supporting financing initiatives and treasury management across the India region, with collaboration on initiatives across the Middle East as well.
Prior to this promotion, Vora served as Vice President – Capital Markets at Brookfield, where he led the capital markets and treasury functions for the India region. In this role, he was responsible for managing financing strategies, capital structure planning, and supporting investment growth initiatives.
Earlier, he worked as Director – Capital Markets at Brookfield, overseeing treasury and capital market activities and contributing to strategic financial initiatives supporting the firm’s infrastructure and investment operations.
Before joining Brookfield, Vora worked with L&T Infrastructure Finance Co. Ltd., where he served as Team Manager – Infra Debt Fund, evaluating debt mandates across India for renewable energy projects.
He previously held roles with IL&FS Financial Services Ltd. (IFIN), where he worked within the asset and structured finance team, focusing on credit appraisal, corporate and project finance structuring, and managing stressed asset portfolios.
Earlier in his career, Vora served as Manager – Structured Finance Group at ICICI Bank, where he was responsible for drafting and structuring financing transactions for large corporate mandates.
With over 15 years of experience across capital markets, infrastructure finance, and structured finance, Darshan Vora brings strong expertise in financing strategy, treasury management, and investment structuring within the infrastructure and investment management sectors.
